KAT Communications, a full service communications company with a 20+ year history serving a local, regional and national client list has an immediate opening for a highly motivated creative individual to join our Art Department.

What you will do:

The position of Videographer/Editor requires expert level skills in all aspects of videotaping with digital cameras, including audio collection and lighting to ensure video projects are produced efficiently and at high quality. You will be involved in multiple stages of video production including editing of videos in Final Cut Pro and preparing videos for distribution to various outlets.

You will also get to:

• Maintain a detailed file-based workflow.
• Oversee inventory and maintenance of video and editing equipment.
• Keep pace with technological changes in broadcast & web video production.

What you will need:

• 6+ years experience with videography, editing, lighting, sound, shot selection and composition.
• Have ability to take direction, multi-task, organize and follow-through.
• Enjoy working with a variety of people.
• Be able to take supervision & direction and work as a team with others.
• Be able to work independently once proper direction has been given.
• Motion graphics experience is also a plus.

Occasional Travel required. Salary based on experience and relevant skills.
