KAT Communications and GoodHealthTV® Discussed on Live Radio

Todd Muggerud, president/owner of KAT Communications, Tom Regan, account manager of KAT, and Theresa Grant, principal partner of Okiciya Consulting, a sister company of KAT, appeared on the “Hear It Now” live radio program to discuss GoodHealthTV®.

GoodHealthTV® is KAT’s Internet-based subscription television service that provides culturally reflective health programming for Native Americans. Now reaching members of 50 tribes, GoodHealthTV® is found in clinic waiting rooms, and other physical locations where people gather, all across Indian Country, including in Alaska, California and Oklahoma.

“Hear It Now,” hosted by Merrill Piepkorn, is a popular talk program heard weekdays on the radio service of Prairie Public, which covers all of North Dakota and portions of adjoining states. The hour-long show airs live each afternoon at 3 p.m. and is repeated each evening at 7 p.m.

Muggerud, Regan and Grant were linked into the program from Prairie Public’s Bismarck studio; the show is actually produced in Fargo. KAT is headquartered in Bismarck.

Topics discussed on the show included the rapid, nationwide growth of the GoodHealthTV® service, and the unique health challenges faced by Native Americans.

You can hear the broadcast on Prairie Public’s Web site.
