Project: Parfleche Bag Client: Coalition of Indian Housing Authorities in North Dakota  The Coalition of Indian Housing Authority in North Dakota (CIHAND) contracted with KAT to produce a unique presentation piece for the materials they use to promote their educational services. A parfleche is a traditional Native American rawhide container, historically used to hold dried meats and pemmican. This parfleche, made of heavy paper stock, was created to resemble the traditional article while it housed the CIHAND business card, information flyer and upcoming events card. |
Project: Print CampaignClient: Montana American Indian Women's Health Coalition  Montana American Indian Women’s Health Coalition (MAIWHC), funded through the Montana Breast and Cervical Health Program, contracted with KAT Communications to promote breast and cervical health. KAT produced a brochure, poster and bookmark featuring local women and using the theme “Every Woman Matters – Once a Year for Your Peace of Mind”. All items include information on breast and cervical health and the importance of regular screening. |
Project: Water PosterClient: Billings Area Indian Health Service  The Billings Area Indian Health Service was looking for a high-impact poster that would encourage people to drink more water as a part of good nutrition. The power of water is conveyed through a strong photograph, but wait--there’s more! Look closely and you’ll see several images of active people in the splashes. |
Project: Meth Poster Campaign Client: Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service  Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service contracted with KAT Communications to produce a high-impact poster campaign that would discourage youth from using Methamphetamines. The concept was base on the theme, “The places you’ll go - The people you’ll meet”. Six scenarios illustrate with dramatic photographs the people and places you may encounter if you choose to do Meth. |
