Nationally, Native Americans – American Indians/Alaskan Natives and Native Hawaiians - have the highest rates of methamphetamine abuse.(1)
In fact, Reservation and Rural Native Communities Meth Abuse Rates are as high as 30%. In May 2006, one Arizona Tribe testified in front of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee that 30% of their Tribal employees recently tested positive for meth use.(2)
Governments, organizations and private citizens everywhere are only now realizing the devastating and all-encompassing effects of methamphetamines.
Our clients have taken action against the Meth epidemic in different ways.
| A culturally reflective informational video was the clear choice for one client. The intended audience: parents and grandparents. The goal: to arm the viewer with enough information to fight against meth, whether in their home or community. | ![]() |
| Another client chose to develop a leaflet distribution campaign. A set of three leaflets were designed and produced, the first was developed for addicts, another for the general public and yet another for parents. | ![]() |
