Using the traditional Upper Plains legend as a comic character, the Story of Iktomi was produced for the Standing Rock Diabetes Program. The animated CD introduced viewers to Iktomi the Trickster as he finds out he has diabetes. Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service has continued the series with 3 additional Iktomi CDs.
